Blueberry Pie with Frozen Berries

This recipe creates the ultimate blueberry pie! Loaded with wild Maine blueberries and baked in a flaky pie dough. 

Ingredients

Gather your ingredients to make the pie filling: blueberries, sugar, water, juice, cinnamon, salt and corn starch.

Defrost blueberries overnight in your fridge.  Pour into a sieve and drain well.  Reserve the drained juices for the next step.

Make a slurry with sugar, blueberry juice, cinnamon, salt and cornstarch.  After cooling briefly, gently combine the slurry with the blueberries.

Heat up that oven!
