Cherry Pie

This homemade cherry pie is bursting with fresh cherry flavor.  In a few hours you could be enjoying this delicious dessert.

Cherries to Use

Pick the darkest, tartest cherry you can find.  My favorite cherry for pies is the Montmorency cherry.

Remove Pits

What is your best trick for pitting cherries?  I use a piping tip to easily remove the pits (I demo this in my instructional video in the link below)

Fill & Bake Pie

Create your filling and add to your pie crust.  Decorate the top as desired (lattice, shapes, etc...).

Allow the pie to cool for approximately 1 hour after baking.  Slice, serve and enjoy!
