Ingredients
Gather the following ingredients to make your turkey pretzels:

- Coconut oil or vegetable oil: oil helps to create a smooth chocolate for dipping
- Candy corn: candy corn is used for the turkey feathers and noses
- Googly eyes: often found in hobby stores or you may purchase online
See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
Follow the instructions below and in less than an hour you'll have turkey pretzels ready for your Thanksgiving dessert table:
1 - Prepare two sheet pans by lining with parchment or wax paper.
2 - Cut the yellow portion off of 6 candy corns. Cut in half lengthwise (this is for the turkeys' noses).
3 - Use a microwave-safe bowl to melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring after each heating until smooth.
Pipe or spoon dollops of melted chocolate on prepared sheet pans. Spread dollops to approximately 1½" circles (6 circles per sheet pan).
Place 7 pieces of candy corn in a fan shape on top each chocolate circle - leaving room between candy to insert pretzel rods.
4 -Place pretzel rods in between the candy corn fans.
Add two googly eyes to each pretzel while the chocolate is still wet. Place the turkey noses you prepared in step #2 onto each pretzel rod.
5 - Allow chocolate to set at room temperature (approximately 1 hour) or place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
6 - Peel turkey pretzels off of paper and transfer to a serving dish.
Equipment
You need the following equipment to make the turkey pretzel treats:
- Two sheet pans lined with parchment or wax paper

- Rubber spatula
- Piping bag or a tablespoon
Storage
Store the turkey pretzels in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Keep in a cool place or store in refrigerator.
